Form and Breaking
(Week 2 Monday and Tuesday)
*Main Curriculum: Poomsae transitional turns
Pee – Wee
1. From ready stance turn left
2. Turn left, right and right with down block
3. Poomsae kick - chamber and kick
4. Practice first line of form
5. Breaking kicks: pop front (lower belts) and pop
round (higher belts)
Junior Class
Warm-up (Focus on jumping): jumping jacks, knees to chest, front side foot
touch, back side foot touch, split leg foot touch, mario jump)
Brown, red, high red – hold one leg behind the back and jump
o Hold one knee to chest and jump
White, Yellow, Orange –
*2x times (First time with hands on waist second time with blocks)
White:
o Walking stance right leg in front left leg turn and
down block (Practicing high block to down block
transition)
Yellow:
o Left leg front stance and right leg step to right
(Practicing front stance down block punch to inside
block transition)
Orange:
o Right leg in front walking stance turn to front left
leg walking stance (Practicing high block to inside
block transition)
Board breaking practice
White – Front kick
Yellow – Axe
Orange - Round
