American Tigers 10 Week Curriculum Version 2: Week 2




                       Board breaking practice: Back, Pop Back, Front leg hook all belt
                              Brown – Spinning Hook kick
                              Red – Spinning Round kick
                              High Red – 2x Spinning round house

                                                             Sparring
                                              (Week 2 Wednesday and Thursday)
                       *Main curriculum: Timing practice

                       Pee – Wee
                                            o  Jump and Kick (focus on kicking at the same time that
                                                you jump)
                                            o  Punch in your spot (waiting for instructor to move
                                                pad)
                                            o  Punch + Kick, (lower belts: push/double front kick)
                                                (higher belts: round/double round house)


                       Junior Class:
                        Warmup: jumping jacks, touch and go, high knees, dancing kicks (by belt),
                       hop and step with count, hop and skip with count, hop and slide with count
                       Stretching: toe touch, knee bend, stretch kick to the side touching hand

                       White, Yellow, Orange:
                                     o  Push kick (Hop and kick not landing then kicking)

                                         o  Punch on your spot
                                         o  Punch moving forward
                                         o  Punch moving backwards
                                         o  Combination kicking: (in 4 different directions)
                                                o  Punch + push kick
                                                o  Punch + double push kick

                                                o  Punch + Push kick + double push
