4. If I have no census drops to report, must I still submit census?
Yes. There is a box you must check on WebAdvisor that states, “I have reviewed my roster
and confirm that there are no drops or all drop activity has been completed”.
5. While processing census online, I accidentally dropped the wrong student.
How can I add the student back into my class?
Please email Sylvia Avila in the Admissions and Records office to reinstate the student.
POSITIVE ATTENDANCE ROSTERS
It is necessary to record attendance on your Positive Attendance Roster throughout the
class and write the total hours for each student in the column titled “HOURS.” Sign, date
and return to Admissions and Records by the grade submission deadline or as soon as
the class has ended. Positive Attendance Rosters will be sent to you from Admissions
and Records.
If a student has stopped attending your class, we will need their attendance up to the
last date of attendance.
If you are unsure if your class is considered a Positive Attendance class where you will
need to keep daily attendance, please contact your Dean’s office for clarification.
GRADES
Grades are submitted via WebAdvisor and are due promptly after the class has ended.
It is very important to this program that grades be entered on time. High school student
grades must be submitted, processed, and delivered to the Counselors and Registrars
before the end of the semester.
Please give ALL students on your roster a grade—even auditing students (the only
exception is Incomplete (“I”) grades; please see next item). Students listed on your
grade roster are registered and grade obligated.
Please do not indicate Incomplete grades. Doing so will result as a missing grade for the
term. Submit the Incomplete Contract with your printed grade roster. The form must be
completely filled out and include both instructor and student signature. A&R will assign
the “I” grade to the student’s record.
