Chinese do not feel that converting out of TCR will make them less Chinese. Meanwhile,
many Chinese are also feeling disassociated from TCR. Chinese traditional social institutions
such as families and temples are not making serious efforts to connect and uphold TCR.
Summarily, there are many factors that have caused the Chinese to convert to non-
TCR or to stop believing in any religion. Social change has caused the Chinese to open up
themselves to other religions. The Chinese as a community are also opening up to other
religions. They are becoming receptive to non-TCR or the idea of becoming an atheist. In the
long run, if no measure is taken to plug the openings, TCR will cease from becoming the
religion of the Chinese.
