The components of healthy diet


                     1.  Enjoying food.

                     2.  Eating a variety of different foods.

                     3.  Eating the right amount to maintain a healthy weight.

                     4.  Eating plenty of foods rich in starch and fiber.

                     5.  Eating plenty of fruit and vegetables.


                     6.  Avoidance of foods that contain a lot of fat.

                     7.  Avoidance of too much sugar.


               The Food Guide Pyramid is a tool to help consumers make informed food

              choices in the context of a healthy diet.






























              Over weight and obesity are considered bad consequences to unbalanced

              diet including high fats and/or sugar



           Hazards of excess weight and physical inactivity

                     1.  Heart disease.


                     2.  Stroke.


                     3.  High blood pressure.
