3.6 MATERIAL HANDELING

Materials will be mechanically supplied to
site, i.e. truck or delivery vehicle.
Materials will be stored and handled in
designated areas, isolated from school
and general traffic.

Excavated materials will be stockpiled and
removed on an ongoing basis.

3.6.1 MOBILE CRANES

Mobile cranes will be used for:

Steel work installations
Rooftop plant installations
Auditorium rooftop works.

3.6.2 HOISTS

Not anticipated to be required.

3.6.3 RUBBISH REMOVAL

Rubbish will be removed from site by a
licenced waste contractor and taken to a
transfer facility for separation.

Asbestos will be removed by suitably
qualified individuals. The specific removal
plan will be discussed with the school to
eliminate potential exposure.
