On March 10 , 2019 Department of Ophthalmology conducted
a CME themed as “The Mixed Basket” at KLES Dr Prabhakar Kore
Hospital & MRC, Belagavi. Dr Arvind L Tenagi organising chairman
welcomed the gathering and Professor & Head, department of
ophthalmology J N Medical collage Belagavi.
The Chief Guest Dr Harsh Vardhan Gupta President of
Chha sgarh state ophthalmic society inaugurated the programme.
He emphasised on the collabora ve rela onship between Doctor and
pa ents involving truth, trust, care & compassion from the doctor
side towards the pa ent.
Dr N S Mahanshe Principal J N Medical College also graced the occasion and said that Ayushman Bharat scheme helps
those who cannot afford the costly treatment, especially in children with re nal abnormali es. In order to keep the
postgraduates and general ophthalmologists update about the recent advanced in surgical & paediatric aspect, the CME was
conducted. More than 75 Doctors a ended the CME. Dr Bhagyajyo B K organising secretary concluded the CME by
delivering the Vote of Thanks.

The 20 Postgraduate Intensive Traning Course, Orthopaedic
CME 2019, was organised by the Department of Orthopaedics on

March 29 , 2019. Prof (Dr) Vivek A Saoji, Vice-Chancellor, KAHER,
Belagavi graced the event and inaugurated the event by ligh ng the
lamp along with other dignitaries Dr V D Pa l, Registrar, Dr (Mrs) N S
Mahantashe , Principal, Dr M V Jali, MD & CE, Dr R S Mudhol,
Medical Superintendent, Dr Shailesh V Udapudi, Organising
Chairman, Dr R B Uppin, Organising Secretary, Dr Puneet Chamakeri,
Joint Organising Secretary, and other Consultants. The Post
Graduates from in-house and other medical ins tutes par cipated in
the event and made it a grand success.

EPILEPSY AWARENESS PROGRAMME
Department of Neurology in associa on with Indian Epilepsy Associa on Bangalore Chapter organised Role Play on

“Myths on Epilepsy” on May 31 , 2019 at KLE’S Dr Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC, Belagavi. A skit performed created
awareness to all the par cipants present for the workshop. Dr Ravishankar Naik, Professor of Neurology, welcomed the
guests. The Guest of Honours was Dr H V Srinivas former President of Indian Epilepsy Associa on, Dr P V Ravi, Dr G T Subhas.
