SKID SUBSEA TEST UNIT

The subsea test unit is used for extensive testing and
diagnostics of wide range of skids. The equipment can
measure up to 600 bar of pressure and up to 670 lpm
of flow. Data can be logged via the provided notebook
computer. It has advanced software and hardware
acquisition system.
The Skid Test Equipment is used to measure a variety of parameters
that can help with testing, verification and troubleshooting of the Fugro Equipment Top View
BOP Skids (450 and 300 series). Other skids are also applicable.
The BOP test system is a computerized live and data logging system that
is able to provide the user with detailed information relating to the function
of the skid. The software provides recommendations, guides and summary
of the test results.
The system is connected to a number of test ports on the skid itself as well
as on external equipment that, together, can characterise the hydraulic
performance of the ROV, the internals of the BOP skid and the skid
discharge. The unit can be used subsea or on the surface. Information
gathered makes it possible to quickly assess the function of the skid and
locate any faults causing the skid to operate at less than the targeted Data Acquisition System
performance.
