With this background, we will address selected

conceptual facts that are largely accepted as truth
regarding so-called race and related racial issues. The
facts we discuss are long standing and understandably

may carry considerable emotional baggage with those
who subscribe to them. Our intent is not to ignite

heated debate. We certainly do not intend to discredit
the experiences and feelings of others. We acknowledge

that those experiences are real, and the associated
feelings understandably run deep. However, our aim is

to shine the light of the HOLY SPIRIT on these facts, in
order to expose the darkness in which they are founded.

By doing this, we hope to set others free to embrace the
abundant life that our LORD JESUS came to provide.

With this purpose, we proceed with this discussion
holding onto the love of the LORD. JESUS said, “…you

will know the truth, and the truth will set you free”
(John 8:32).

Fact – Genesis 4, Misuse of scripture to justify sin: We

mentioned in Chapter 1 how scripture was, and in some
cases, still used to justify “racial” division and

the subjugation of the so-called black race. It was
especially effective in the justification of slavery. In

Genesis 4:11-12, we find the story of Cain and Abel.
Because Cain murdered his brother Abel, GOD put him
