Part 2 - Israel Centric Prophecies

Since the beginning, Israel has been the epicenter of
Biblical Prophecy. If we want to know where we are in
relation to GOD’s prophetic calendar; we must watch
what is taking place in Israel. Our discussions will center
on the major prophecies that pertain to modern-day
Israel, to Gentiles or Gentile nations. We will start by

considering the prophecies for modern-day Israel that
have already been fulfilled. By doing this, we will see
the precision with which the Bible speaks. A short
summary of history will set the stage.

Prophecies for Abraham – Israel’s beginning
The green tables shown below highlight key prophecies
for Israel. When GOD thwarted Nimrod’s rebellion at
the tower of Babel, HE took four significant corrective
actions. HE confused the language and scattered people
across the world. HE set aside the land of Canaan for HIS
chosen people. HE made a covenant with Abraham that
nations would descend from him (Gen. 12, 15).

Prophetic History of Israel - from Abraham

[Gen. 12:1-3] GOD made a covenant with Abraham;
nations would rise from his lineage; his descendants
would number as grains of sand.

[Gen. 15:13] Abraham’s descendants, Israel, will sojourn
as strangers in lands that are not theirs for 400 years.
This was confirmed in Exodus 12:40.
