Vehicle Incidents Update
Major Incident Process If you are unfortunate to be involved in a major vehicle incident, where other road users
have been injured or the police are attending the scene. HSS are now able to offer you expert legal support at the
scene of the incident, using a new partnership with Kennedys Solicitors. If you are involved in a potentially serious
incident, please contact the fleet team on 0161 888 4850 who will assess your incident and arrange the legal support if
required.
Vehicle Incident Reporting App Colleagues are requested to make use of this app if they are
involved in an incident, whilst still at the scene. It enables the driver to give an accurate, detailed
description of the scene, backed up by photographic evidence
If you have an incident:
- Always stop at the scene
- Ring 999 if someone is injured, a major road is blocked
because of it or you suspect a crime such as drink driving
- Exchange details using the Vehicle Incident Log
- Report the incident SAMEDAY using the app
