Orange Squash
USING JUICE EXTRACTOR Cut away the outside of the orange peel
AND LIQUIDISER thinly, then extract the juice.
’It’s squash from real oranges – Place the peel in the liquidiser with some

3 oranges Switch to top speed for 30 seconds.
3 lb sugar Pour into a saucepan with the rest of the

4 pts water Bring to the boil, add sugar, citric acid, a

Lower the heat, stirring until sugar is
dissolved.
Pour through a strainer and bottle in hot
sterilized bottles.
Use as required, diluting with water,
soda water or milk.
Iced Coffee
Place ice cubes, sugar and coffee in
USING LIQUIDISER liquidiser and blend for 30 seconds on
’Summer party drink’ top speed.
½ pt strong black coffee Reduce speed to 4, remove centre cap
1 small carton of single of lid and pour in the cream and brandy.
cream Switch off and pour the coffee into tall

glasses.
2 tbsp sugar Float a spoonful of sweetened whipped
sweetened whipped cream cream on top of each and serve with

Orange Blossom
Blend all ingredients in the liquidiser for
USING LIQUIDISER 5 seconds on maximum speed.
4 oz gin Strain into chilled cocktail glasses.
2 tbsp orange juice
1 tbsp sugar
1 egg white
4 ice cubes
Serves 4
Mint Cooler
Blend all together in the liquidiser on
USING LIQUIDISER maximum speed for 30 seconds.
2 oz whisky Strain into two long glasses.
4 fresh mint leaves Place 2 cubes of ice in each and fill with
1 tbsp sugar soda water.
2 tsp lemon juice
Garnish with mint sprigs and lemon.
