Hot Chocolate Mint Milk


                   USING LIQUIDISER                        Break the chocolate in pieces and place
                   ’Bedtime drink with a difference’       in the goblet.
                   ½ pt hot milk                           Pour  the  hot  milk  in  and  blend  on  top
                   1 small bar peppermint cream            speed for 30 seconds.

                                           Kenwood Lemonade


                   USING LIQUIDISER                        Thin-skinned  lemons  are  best  for  this
                   ’One lemon makes a whole                purpose.
                   jugful of lemonade.                     Place  lemon,  sugar,  and  ice  in  the
                   1 lemon                                 liquidiser, top up to the 1½ pint level with
                   2 tbsp sugar                            cold water and turn to maximum speed
                   6 ice cubes                             for 10 seconds.
                   1¼ pts cold water                       Strain into a jug.
                                                           To  serve,  add  one  or  two  more  ice
                                                           cubes  and  float  thin  slices  of  lemon  in
                                                           the drink.
                                                           NOTE: This drink is delicious with a few
                                                           sprigs of parsley added.


                                                Lemon Squash


                   USING LIQUIDISER AND                    Cut away the outside peel of the lemons
                   JUICE EXTRACTOR                         and  place  in  the  liquidiser  with  ½  pt
                   ’Easy and economical’                   water.  Switch  on  to  top  speed  for  1
                   2 lemons                                minute.
                   3 lb sugar                              Pour into a saucepan with the remaining
                   4 pts water                             water and bring to the boil.
                   2 oz citric acid                        Extract  the  juice  from  the  lemons  and
                                                           add this with the sugar and citric acid to
                                                           the saucepan. Stir to dissolve the sugar,
                                                           then  strain  and  bottle  in  hot  sterilized
                                                           bottles.
                                                           Use  as  desired,  diluting  with  water  or
                                                           soda water.


                                         Christmastime Special


                   USING LIQUIDISER                        Halve  the  fruit  and  place  in  liquidiser
                   2 tangerines                            with sugar and ice. Fill to 1½ pint level
                   1 lemon                                 and  switch  to  maximum  speed  for  10
                   6 ice cubes                             seconds.
                   2 tbsp sugar                            Strain and serve.
                   water
