50+ units. SK observed that other district plan policies (particular design) were also
relevant… Discussion about offsetting existing floorspace against the need for affordable
               housing

paragraph 1.22 “the adjoining life improvement Centre was briefly discussed and its allocation
in the neighbourhood plan. It was noted that the number of units allocated were stated as
unknown. DP confirmed that the reference to it in the submitted design and access statement
was solely to demonstrate that the scheme under consideration of the EDF site would not
prejudice the development of any potential scheme on the life improvement Centre site: and
was not intended as a proposal for consideration the current planning application

Will Dorman invited Darren Page to send revised proposals to him informally as they evolve:
               he would respond promptly.---------

correspondence between Mr King and Tony Tilllin-- and finding a scheme that the officers can
               support…..

               40 10.2 EXTENSIVE CONSULTATION
subject to extensive consultation and debate with and by local people. One meeting on-------
site was not included --- no mention of integrated scheme……

               41 10.3 STATUTORY CONSULTEE RESPONSES
generally responses from statutory consultation have been supportive or at least raised no
objection and related to 71 units so it is reasonable to suppose that the proposed reduction to
54 units will not give rise to any objection from statutory consultees

the design review panel--- and AWVC--- overwhelming by residents—in contrast---
               overdevelopment

42 10.4 INPUT FROM THE PLANNING CASE OFFICER
the revised scheme is the product of consultation in the form of correspondence and
meetings with the planning case officer and design officer and in particular those that
were raised by the design review panel

43 11.2 MORE ON BROWNFIELD SITES
it is becoming increasingly important that the potential identified brownfield site is
                    optimised----

44 11.5 MORE ON TRAFFIC FLOWS
the scheme does not raise any traffic OR highways issues because there will be a reduction in
               traffic generation
                                                                                                                  Page26
