In normal conditions the kidneys reabsorb all glucose but when its %
exceeds 350 milligram/100 cm3 , the reabsorption fails and the glucose
appears in the urine. (A sign for diabetic patient but it is not for diagnosis)
The normal % of glucose in blood is 100 : 120 milligram/100 cm3.
Glucose also may appear in urine in the pregnancy women.
Blood urine indicates the infection of urinary tract with a disease.
Kidney failure: Individual can live with 1
kidney and in this case, it
becomes slightly bigger.
Diseased or injured kidneys (renal failure) may cause poisoning and
death due to the accumulation of harmful wastes in the blood.
Artificial kidney: (Dialyzer)
