Security Vulnerabilities and External Interference

Participants emphasized critical vulnerabilities in NEC servers,
vote-counting machines, and IT systems. Yoon noted that the
National Intelligence Service identified hacking risks, yet no
thorough investigation has been conducted. He warned that
North Korean or Chinese hackers could easily exploit these
vulnerabilities, citing the use of identical passwords nationwide
as evidence of severe security lapses.

                           Political Connections with China
and the Need for International Cooperation

Yoon expressed concerns over alleged pro-China tendencies
among some government officials, suggesting possible ties
between power holders and China. Do criticized the judiciary
and prosecution for their reluctance to pursue truth, highlighting
the need for greater transparency. All participants stressed
the importance of international collaboration to enhance the
integrity and credibility of South Korea’s electoral system.

Citizen Oversight and Recommendations for Fair Elections

Do suggested adopting U.S. style citizen oversight measures,
deploying monitors at polling and counting stations to enhance
transparency. Attorney Yoon expressed cautious optimism,
noting that President Yoon Sukyeol and his advisors are
            beginning to acknowledge these issues.
