        Snapchat and AR Lab Join Forces to Launch Innovative

        Augmented Reality Gift for Ramadan 2025


        Snapchat partnered with the AR Lab, a well-known innovator in Augmented Reality (AR),
        to provide a specially improved Iftar experience using augmented reality. Specifically
        created as a Ramadan present for Snap’s notable partners and stakeholders, this

        carefully chosen product combines cutting-edge augmented reality technology with
        beloved Ramadan customs to provide recipients with an enjoyable and memorable

        experience during the Holy Month.

        The exquisitely designed present packaging has a die-cut opening in the form of a

        crescent, revealing a chic yellow plate with the unique Snap Ghost emblem and creative
        inspiration from Snap’s iconic branding. This custom plate comes with a printed

        Snapcode that the receivers may scan to use Snapchat’s in-house AR marker
        technology. This unique function turns a customary Ramadan rite into a digitally
        enhanced experience, greatly increasing the thrill of the unwrapping moment.


        The AR technology quickly creates three classic Ramadan meals that are vividly

        presented on a personalised table mat as the recipients aim their camera at the unique
        Snap plate. Every virtual meal has a thorough explanation that combines creativity with
        reverence for traditional Iftar traditions. This creative and culturally significant fusion of

        contemporary augmented reality technology and traditional components captures the
        essence of Ramadan.


        The CEO and creator of The AR Lab, Wissam Jomaa, underlined the company’s delight
        in working with Snapchat, a top connectivity platform, to provide its valued partners and

        stakeholders with this unique AR-driven “IftAR” experience. He went on to say that this
        creative project shows the enormous potential of cutting-edge technology like

        augmented reality, enabling experiences that are both profoundly relevant and
        captivating. In keeping with The AR Lab’s long-standing mission to seamlessly integrate
        technology into everyday life for increased convenience, leisure, and pleasure, Jomaa

        emphasised that this initiative highlights the spirit of oneness essential to Ramadan.

        partnership with The AR Lab and emphasised Snapchat’s strong ties to local culture,
        particularly among GCC citizens. Refaat went on to highlight the company’s pleasure in

        project, Snapchat aimed to respect the holy customs of the month of Ramadan while
