FrIday Session F90 10:30 - 11:20 Exhibit Hall Room
Help Students Build Numerical Reasoning
Math is about more than finding the correct answer. It’s about using numerical reasoning to
find the best strategy for solving a problem. Let’s explore flexible, classroom-tested instruction
for building numerical reasoning and confidence where teachers can build capacity as
students move from basic conceptual understanding to skills development in the areas of
addition and subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions, the cornerstone of elementary
math. Teachers will leave with fun, engaging classroom math games that they can implement
the next day in their classroom!
