 Electrification of 685 mts of new line at GDK siding:

As per the request from siding authorities for 685 mts of new line with electrification
for easing the loading activities at GDK siding, the works related to TRD are
completed.

 Provision of DJ STOP boards for 16 car MEMU @DKJ and SEM:

New 16 car MEMU services in place of 12 car MEMU are introduced between BDCR-
SRUR and SC-WD from 19/20.07.2021. New DJ Close boards are provided at WD and
KRA SSPs with suitable length for 16 car MEMU to avoid the bridging of supply.

 Replacement of NICCO make contact wire:

NICCO make contact wire is a failure prone contact wire and replacement of the
same is the foremost work to do for TRD in the Division to avert the breakdowns.
Division has taken up the work and replacing in full pace from last two years. There
are Total 197 TLs identified for replacement. so far. 37 TLs (47387 Mts) of contact wire
replaced.
