and disease control, and entrepreneurship. They also learned the correct way to plant
seeds, disinfect the soil, prepare the ground, and transfer.
Further, as part of their duties to share and promote vegetable consumption
among their community for a better, more balanced diet, students were urged to plant
in their backyards at home and to follow the beneficial gardening practices they had
learnt in school.
CLEANEST ZONE CHALLENGE
This is led by the SGC officers that aims to improve the health and learning
performance of students by reducing the incidence of water and sanitation-related
diseases. In line with the objectives of WINS (Wash in Schools), classrooms, comfort
rooms, wash areas, and other zones are consistently checked by the WINS coordinators
with the help of the parents and other stakeholders like Jo’s Infinity Blooms, Paperus
Merchandise and Family Church of Luna to determine the cleanest zone.
Student awards and diplomas increase students' self-esteem by acknowledging
their achievements, efforts, and progress. These prizes not only recognize their efforts
in their academic careers, but also serve as motivation to strive for excellence. Awards
are intended to emphasize individual students' abilities, encourage a love of learning,
and foster an environment of respect and gratitude in the classroom.
“BAYBAYIN KO, LINIS KO”
Large-scale beach rehabilitation projects are made possible by beach clean-ups.
However, cleaning up doesn't have to wait for the next one. Assuming accountability for
our plastic waste is already a positive step. As demonstrated by initiatives like limiting
the use of plastic straws, beach clean-ups not only remove dangerous waste to save
marine habitats but also offer important data to stop pollution in the future.
Additionally, a beach clean-up offers the chance to collect fresh information
regarding the condition of our coastlines and the kinds of waste that contaminate them.
Environmental organizations can devise strategies to stop the most dangerous garbage
from getting into the ocean or from being dumped on beaches again by identifying it.
This activity is mandatory at Luna National High School because the school is
located near the shore. The PTA, Alumni Association, LGU, and YES-O clubs from both
junior and senior high schools are spearheading the fight to keep coastal zones clean.
This procedure takes place once a month to keep coastal regions clean. This could help
pupils comprehend why it is crucial to maintain coastal regions clean.
ANNUAL STAGE PLAY AND VARIETY SHOW
To help schools provide students with a better education, outside resources are
insufficient (Klein Pereira, 2016). There is a dearth of sufficient and excellent teaching
and learning tools to support the educational process because most secondary schools
