Students of all ages and backgrounds can be impacted by bullying in the
educational system. Bullying is frequently done by students who want to control others.
Bullied individuals may experience hurt and helplessness. While some bullying
symptoms are more subtle, others can be easily identified.
Knowing how to stop bullying can be vital for parents, educators, and students
since it can result in long-term emotional, physical, and mental harm. A more secure
and tranquil school environment can be achieved by implementing efficient anti-bullying
measures.
The school's guidance office, with the constant support of SGC officers, parents,
and other stakeholders, makes every effort to educate kids about the dangers of
bullying. The campaign takes place every quarter. The campaign is led by the Supreme
Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) and guided by the guidance counselor. The
program is run in classrooms to increase the transmission of information. Parents are
also involved with the effort.
SA LOCAL SCHOOL BOARD YAN!
A local school board (LSB) is a special body established under Republic Act No.
7160, often known as the Local Government Code of 1991 (LGC 91). Its primary
responsibility is to allocate the Special Education Fund (SEF) to address the additional
needs of the local public school system. The SEF is a 1% fee that is collected alongside
real property taxes paid to the local government.
In Luna, the Local School Board is well-represented. Meetings are regularly
attended by the school principal of Luna National High School together with chosen
stakeholders from the School Governance Council to strengthen the relationship of the
school and the local government unit and to actively participate in the recommendation
of policies and programs to the local school board since this is an avenue in
incorporating the community’s view of what students should know and be able to
accomplish.
OPEN- BOOK POLICY
The majority of public schools continue to face difficulties with accountability
and openness in the management of school funds. Pressure would increase if staff or
parents were unaware of the school's actual use of the MOOE or if internal and external
stakeholders were unaware of its financial situation. This might lead to disputes,
skepticism, or even major administrative complaints. Every stakeholder wanted to make
sure that public money was being used appropriately for the PUBLIC SERVICE, which
is their intended use.
Transparency in education is a powerful tool for tracking students' progress and
inspiring them. Additionally, transparent instruction increases students' sense of
involvement and engagement in the learning process.
