Install vending machines at underground, rail and bus
stations to dispense vitamins. The machines would be
similar in appearance to those that typically hold nuts,
jellybeans or other confectionery. The availability of
vitamins at stations would appeal to commuters who
forget to take their daily doses. Tablets would probably

60cost about 10p each. Vitamins and pills on offer could
change seasonally to include zinc in the winter or hay
fever remedies in the summer. The government could
even utilise the machines during epidemic outbreaks.
