4 STORYTELLING # 11 PREP 1
Review story P.39—Create a stage with kids sitting around it in chairs.
Tell story, adding lots of questions for repetition and have kids act out the story
with props. —-> Hay un gato. ¿Hay un gato o hay un perro? Hay tortuga?
El gato tiene hambre. ¿El gato tiene hambre o no tiene hambre?
El gato ve una pizza. ¿El gato ve pizza? Ve ratoncito? Ve una tortuga? VOCABULARY
Agarra la pizza y la come. ¿El gato agarra fruta? Agarra pizza? Agarra . . ?
El gato ve un sándwich y se lo come. . ¿El gato ve pizza o ve sándwich?
El gato ve chocolate y se lo come. . ¿El gato fruta o chocolate? Come?El gato ve
una manzana y se la come. . ¿El gato come manzana o no come? El gato está mal
yomita la pizza, vomita el sándwich y vomita el chocolate. ¿El gato come mu-
cho? Vomita? Por que vomita? Esta enfermo?

GAME
Play Quiet/Loud game –
1. First take a LOBO and tell the kids that the group will hide
the LOBO and someone will leave the room while the kids
hide it.
2.Ask the student to leave and have kids hide the object VOCABULARY
3. Then have all the kids tell the kid outside “Listo!!”
4. The student looks for the object. The closer the student gets
to the object the louder the kids chant, “Lobo, lobo, lobo”
the farther away he gets the slower and quieter they chant.
5. Repeat with other words like manzana and anything you want
to reinforce.

CLOSING
Sit in a circle and sing, “adiós clase ” song
Have each kid say, “nos vemos” to you as you say goodbye.
Give kids a high five!
Adiós Emma, adiós Riley, adiós Jackson . . . Nos vemos muy, muy pron- REMINDER
to. Adiós Jenna, adiós Nora, adiós Profe Dunn, nos vemos muy, muy
pronto . . .
