• Put cards in a LARGE circle
VOCABULARY
• Kids walk around the circle next to the cards while stomping to LA MUSI-
CA (EN ESPANOL)
• When the music stops the kids stop .
• Teacher calls on each student say the card they landed on (or a couple
students if you don’t want to ask all) Repeat! Note – never
make a kid feel embarrassed if they don’t know the word, try giving them
options (For example, es un pajaro o un ratoncito?)

Move to a new location Have students stand up! Teach word with a movement/
motion. Use sound affect too!
Show the picture cards to teach/reinforce the learning (ask the easy questions on
