         book)    If permitted, eat snack and check kids homework; award a
         sticker

         Sit in a circle on the ground or in chairs together.   Sing Body parts song
                                                                        GAME: SIMON DICE
           Begin today with a the body parts song. Stand up and get kids singing and
             dancing this song:
                                                                                             Play a quick game of
           Sing the song several times and have kids point to the body part as you sing.    “simon dice” — see  Fun

                  •   Create a monster(s) with the students!                         •   Whiteboard, colored markers
         •   Ask: “Clase, ¿un circulo o un cuadrado?  ¿Un triangulo?                 •   Watch FF example video

         •   Draw the head  Ask: ¿Tiene un ojo? Dos ojos? ¿Tres ojos? ¿Ojos
             azules? Verdes

                       TARGET VOCABULARY
                 Musical chairs with cards

         •   Put chairs in a circle, one for each student

         •   Place picture cards  or props on each chair
         •   Play fun music, such as mariachi, as the kids circle the chairs   VOCABULARY

         •   When the music stops each child must find a seat

         •   Have the students go around and hold up their card and say the
             word

         Students are allowed to sit in any chair . Repeat  Note – typical musical
         chairs will have one less chair than there are students, however this may cause a dan-
         gerous situation in the class, so we advise against it
