WATER CONSUMPTIO REDUCTION

Water is one of the basic elements of life which becomes the basic human needs. Various problems in the
environmental field happened lately helped give a negative impact on the availability and quality of water.
Therefore, treatment should be done is through conservation of water resources, which is an attempt to
maintain the existence and continuation of the circumstances, the nature and function of water resources as
a whole, to maintain the availability of water in the present and in the future.

Therefore KRA has been committed to supporting the conservation of water resources by means of
campaigning for water saving program, reduce the amount of groundwater use by building WTP bendali,
and reusing water from the WWTP to the washing process components

KRA's business trend tend to decrease in FY2020. It has shown the decline of KRA net profit was remain
33,3% compared to FY2019. Meanwhile, KRA also reduced its production capacity due to a minus growth in
the number of employees for 5% and had no replacement for retirement/resigned employees at the end of
FY2020. KRA also had a business process’ remapping to enhance manpower productivity.
