SOCIAL & RESPONSIBILITY

Komatsu Remanufacturing Asia as a company that
operates in Indonesia always strives to be a socially
responsible company and environmentally friendly.

The company is aware that corporate social
responsibility is a key to be sustainable in the
business. Continuous commitment of the company and
all stakeholders are very important to improve quality
of life in surrounding community.

Regarding social responsibility, the company is
Professional certification workshop
concerned with 4 focus areas: Education, Health,
Community, Income Generating Activity, and
Environment.
The company executed some CSR programs
including:

1. Education Pillar (KRAsmart)
a. Professional certification workshop agenda for all
SMK Balikpapan which is a requirement for
obtaining a license from the National Professional
Certification Agency (BNSP).
b. The agenda of visits from representatives of Astra
tower and representatives of Vocational (SMKN)
Astra vocational program roadshow
teachers throughout East Kalimantan in the Astra
vocational program roadshow.
c. Collage student visited & plant tour to KRA (ex :
POLTEK Balikpapan). The agenda for signing the
MoU & providing laptop assistance to SMKN 2, 3 &
6 Astra's vocational roadshow agenda.
d. Agenda for sharing technical learning materials to
support online learning programs for SMKN 6
Balikpapan.
e. Support the agenda of the Technical competency
test for students of SMKN 6 Balikpapan.
f. Online coordination with the Vocational Team
Providing laptop assistance to SMKN 2, 3 & 6
throughout East Kalimantan for technical
discussions related to the vocational program
recommended by the government.
