Marble Coconut Banana Bread
A sweet treat to enjoy for breakfast or dessert!
Dry Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- ¼ cup coconut flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
Wet Ingredients:
- 3 medium very ripe bananas
- ½ cup coconut milk
- 1/3 cup maple syrup or agave
- 3 tsp lime juice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 Tbs coconut oil melted
Chocolate Layer Ingredients:
- 6 Tbs cocoa powder
- 3 Tbs sugar
- 1/3 cup coconut milk
- 1 Tbs coconut oil melted
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl combine all dry ingredients.
2. In a small bowl, beat all wet ingredients.
3. When well mixed, combine to dry ingredients and blend for another minute.
4. Take 1/3 of the batter and combine with the “chocolate layer” ingredients.
5. In a greased loaf pan, layer banana batter then chocolate batter and again
until both batters are gone.
6. Bake for 35-45 min or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
