“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you,
so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are
my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:34-35).
“Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with
Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the
Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete
by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of
one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather,
in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own
interests but each of you to the interests of the others” (Philippians
2:1-4).
“Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully
to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body…Do not let the
sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foot-
hold…Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but
only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs,
that it may benefit those who listen…Get rid of all bitterness, rage
and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be
kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as
in Christ God forgave you” (Ephesians 4: 25-27, 29, 31-32).
In light of those passages, would you say you’re currently experienc-
ing fellowship? If so, with whom and where?
