of practice or preparation, or guidance. Failing in an examination
does not mean that you have failed in life. History is full of examples
of several scientists, presidents, prime ministers, actors and artists

who have failed in several exams. It has been observed that a very
well-educated man turns out to be a great actor whereas an actor
after failing in his acting career, becomes a successful businessman.
“There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve:
the fear of failure.” ― Paulo Coelho. Even if you do not achieve
success in your first attempt, it is perfectly alright. Keep trying. Your
failure is not final. As Maya Angelou said, “You may encounter many
defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary

to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you
can rise from, how you can still come out of it.”

There have been two kind of people in history.

Type 1: These people are like Julius Caesar, who say ‘I came, I saw,
I conquered’. This means that ‘wherever I went I only earned
success, I do not know what failure is, and that I have always been
                successful in first attempt itself.’

Type 2: People like Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela who
spent their entire lifetime in working hard and struggling, and

                achieved success at the end.
But today we have no Gandhi or Caesar amidst us. But we still
remember them and learn from what they said and did. And both of
them have a special place in history. So, if you are not successful in
the first attempt, you have to tell yourself that even if you cannot
become a Caesar, nobody can stop you from becoming a Gandhi.

Have Patience. ‘The wait will soon be over.’

You have to give yourself enough chances, you neither have to get
disappointed nor burden yourself with unprecedented and baseless
expectations. This examination will come again in your life and if not,
you are going to get numerous better opportunities along the way.
Life does not lack opportunities or new avenues. If you are not

successful in one field, you can emerge victorious in another. You
