wants to. And blood donation is one of the saintly acts because it
                can save lives.


                Another thing which you can do is to fill up a vessel which is made
                out of clay, with water, and keep it outside for the birds. Change
                water in this vessel every day, you can also put out a few grains for
                the birds to eat. If possible, you can also leave out some space for
                the birds to build their nests, or you can make one nest by yourself
                and hang it out on a branch. The nest would invite the birds to live
                there. If you will spend time with the birds on a daily basis, you will
                feel very happy about it, and also, much better.


                The third thing which you can do is to find a cowshed near your
                house and take out at least 30 minutes to go there and do some
                service. You can help out in some works: you can help in arranging
                the fodder for the cows, you can feed the cow, and even give it a

                bath. You will be able to see the difference within yourself in just one
                day. If there is a temple near your house you can go there in the
                evenings and attend prayers. Get out of the house. Do not stay
                alone for longer durations. If there is a garden or a park nearby your
                house you must go there. Make some friends, spend some time
                exercising, talking to others or just stay for some time in the
                company of other people.


                Depression does not attack you, all of a sudden. It is a vicious slow
                cycle. It slowly settles in after prolonged sadness or stress.  It is not
                the case that when you are depressed one day you are extremely
                happy, and the next day you are very, very sad. Depression is a
                mental condition and you cannot just will yourself to ‘snap out of it.’

                But if you want to heal yourself, you have to get moving and do that
                what makes you happy.
                You can create something big by adding small pieces of something.
                Similarly, you can also get out of depression with the assistance of
                small little activities that makes you happy. Take the first step
                towards your happiness.
