OCTOBER 2021 EDITION
No "presumption of guilt" is created by the mere existence of a relationship with outside firms. However, if employees have
any influence on transactions involving purchases, contracts or leases, it is imperative that they disclose to an Executive
Management team member as soon as possible the existence of any actual or potential conflict of interest so that safeguards
can be established to protect all parties.
Contact the PeopleTeam for more information or questions about conflicts of interest.
OUTSIDE EMPLOYMENT
You may hold an outside job so long as you meet the performance standards of your job with Diversified. All employees will
be judged by the same performance standards and will be subject to Diversified's scheduling demands, regardless of any
existing outside work requirements.
If Diversified determines that an employee's outside work interferes with performance or the ability to meet the requirements
of Diversified as they are modified from time to time, the employee may be asked to terminate the outside employment if he
or she wishes to remain with Diversified.
Outside employment that constitutes a conflict of interest is prohibited. Employees may not receive any income or material
gain from individuals outside Diversified for materials produced or services rendered while performing their jobs.
NONDISCLOSURE
The protection of confidential business information and trade secrets is vital to the interests and the success of Diversified.
Such confidential information includes, but is not limited to, the following examples:
• Computer programs and codes
• Customer lists
• Customer preferences
• Financial information
• Marketing strategies
• Pending projects and proposals
Employees who improperly use or disclose trade secrets or confidential business information will be subject to corrective
action, up to and including termination of employment and legal action, even if they do not actually benefit from the disclosed
information.
In the effort to prevent accidental release of confidential business information, Insider Threat Training is assigned to all
employees to train on how to prevent, detect and respond to phishing and threats.
JOB POSTINGS
In general, notices of all regular and part-time job openings will be posted internally. However, Diversified reserves its
discretionary right to not post a particular opening internally.
To apply for an open position, employees should complete an application on Dayforce to be recognized as an Internal
Employee Applicant. Employees are encouraged to inform their supervisors of their interest in other positions, career plans
and professional goals.
