5. Peer Voice Critique Workshop
Description: Students write an essay draft and then
exchange it with a classmate for feedback. The focus of
the peer critique will be on style, tone, and voice. Each
student provides feedback on whether the tone is
appropriate, whether the writer’s voice is clear, and
whether the style enhances the clarity and
              persuasiveness of the essay.
Objective: To help students develop critical thinking skills
regarding style, tone, and voice by providing feedback on
              their peers’ writing.
Assessment: Students are graded on the depth and
quality of their feedback as well as the revisions they
make to their own essays based on peer suggestions.

       6. Imitating Style and Voice Assignment
Description: Students read an essay by a famous author
or scholar and attempt to imitate that writer’s style,
tone, and voice in a short essay of their own. The
assignment encourages them to observe the nuances of
writing and incorporate stylistic elements into their own
               work.
Objective: To help students gain a deeper understanding
of how professional writers craft their essays and to
experiment with adopting different writing styles.

Assessment: Graded on how well the student captures
the style, tone, and voice of the original writer and how
effectively they apply it in their own essay.

These projects are designed to encourage students to practice
and reflect on style, tone, and voice in their writing, helping them
become more adaptable and effective writers.
