2022 U.S. Benefits Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q. Will my per paycheck contributions change in 2022?
A. Medical contributions are increasing by 3%, which will be no more than $6 per pay check. The amount you
will be deducted per paycheck will depend upon your number of dependents and which plan(s) you are
enrolled in. Benefit plans and costs are outlined in detail in our Benefits Guide. Rubrik remains committed to
providing employees with a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. We continue to contribute, on
average, 90% of the employee premium and 86% of the dependent premium.
Q. I am already enrolled in Optional Life insurance. Can I increase my benefit during this 2022 Open
Enrollment period?
A. If you are currently enrolled in optional life insurance with coverage less than $250k, you may increase your
coverage during Open Enrollment by $10k or $20k, up to $250k, with no Evidence of Insurability (EOI). If you
are enrolled with spouse optional life, you can increase the coverage by $5k or $10k up to $50k with no EOI.
If you are electing for the first time or elect above the Guarantee Issue (GI) amounts, you will still be required
to submit EOI and your coverage may or may not be approved by Lincoln. For the 2022 Plan Year Open
Enrollment, EOI is due to Lincoln by 12/1/21. If you fail to submit EOI by this date, your coverage will default
to the GI amount.
Q. If I have a 2021 FSA, do I need to re‑elect for 2022?
A. Yes. You must actively re‑enroll in a 2022 FSA via Workday. Otherwise, your FSA will terminate
effective 12/31/2021.
Q. Will I receive a FSA debit card for 2022?
A. If you currently have a debit card for FSA benefits through Navia that is not set to expire, you will not receive
a new card for 2022. Cards are valid for three (3) years and you if you are actively enrolled on the card
expiration date, you will automatically receive a new card in the mail. However, if you do not currently have a
debit card and you are enrolling in a pre‑tax account through Navia for the first time, you will receive a debit
card for 2022, which will be valid for three (3) years.
Q. I am a new hire joining the team after the 2022 Open Enrollment window has closed. How do I
enroll in Open Enrollment for 2022?
A. You will automatically receive a task in your Workday Inbox for 2022 Open Enrollment after you submit and
complete your 2021 Benefits New Hire task. Once you submit your New Hire elections for the remainder of
the 2021 calendar year, your Open Enrollment task for 2022 will be available for you. If you do not see either
of these enrollment tasks in your Workday inbox, please do not initiate any new Benefit events. You must
complete a number of onboarding tasks first before your New Hire Benefits event becomes available in your
Workday inbox.
Q. My Open Enrollment event says it is “On Hold” in my Workday inbox. Why is that?
A. This means that you have a pending benefit event (e.g. Add Company Coverage, Birth, Divorce, New Hire, etc.)
in Workday. Complete and submit this event first. Upon approval, you will be able to make changes to your
Open Enrollment benefit task. If this event is no longer needed or was initiated in error, please reach out
to benefits@rubrik.com to cancel the event. Workday does not provide you the option to cancel the
event yourself.
Q. When I click on the Benefits worklet and select “Benefit Elections as of Date” and enter
1/1/2022, I’m not seeing my Open Enrollment Elections or the Standard policies.
A. You will only be able to see your 2022 elections after Rubrik closes and processes Open Enrollment, which
will be on or around November 24, 2021.
