Viewing Measurement Data
The ribbon will display the controls for manipulating the view:
• In the ‘Sensor’ section of the ribbon select the axis to configure.
• In the ‘Units’ section of the ribbon, select the units to use in EVView; metric or
imperial.
The ‘Sensor Specific Information’ section is used to set the Alert thresholds for the axis
selected in the ribbon:
• Select a Summary Number to view and/or set the Alert thresholds for the selected
sensor.
• The measurement result of the currently selected measurement is shown.
• The Alert thresholds for the selected axis (in the ribbon) and Summary Number are
shown. To change the Alert threshold, enter a new threshold and press the enter
key on the keyboard (pressing ‘enter’ commits the change).
Note:
Changing the Alert thresholds will change the analysis results of all
measurements in EVView immediately. However, the monitor will not
use these new thresholds until the changes are uploaded to the
monitor using the ‘Synchronize’ button (refer to Section 9.1.10 for
details).
The ‘Fixed Frequency Annotations’ section shows 1x and 2f frequencies; these are
based on the asset ratings and are not editable.
The ‘Frequency Cutoff’ section shows the currently configured high and low frequency
cutoffs for the axis. To change the frequency cutoffs, enter a new value and press the enter
key on the keyboard (pressing ‘enter’ commits the change).
Note:
Changing the Frequency Cutoffs does not change any data that has
already been collected.
When using a GuardII+ monitor, a frequency cutoff change can be
uploaded to the monitor and all future data collected will use the new
frequency cutoffs. The changes must be uploaded to the monitor
using the ‘Synchronize’ button (refer to Section 9.1.10 for details) for
the new frequency cutoffs to take effect.
Changing the frequency cutoffs only affects data acquisition on
GuardII+ monitors.
