NOTE:
Even if IAM won’t be used to store measurement data (flux levels will be
tracked through Modbus, for example) an IID database will still be required
to configure the GuardII+.
NOTE:
If adding a flux card to an existing GuardII+, a new asset is not required in
IAM; check to see if the asset already has the required ratings as
described in Section 6.2.2 and then add flux sensors to the asset as
described in Section 6.2.3.
6.2.2. Asset Setup
Once the asset is created in the database, filling in the details about the asset will provide
necessary information for a more complete data analysis, as well as help the software
determine appropriate settings for the monitor.
NOTE:
On each page of the Asset Editor, information icons are shown for
properties that are required for one or more monitoring technologies.
Hovering the mouse pointer over the icon will show when the information
is required.
To fully configure the Flux system, the following asset information is required:
