o Additionally, the pole labelling for a 4-pole round rotor machine may be
changed by selecting a pole naming schema (ABCD or ACDB).
o Once finished, select “Save”.
NOTE:
If a shaft trigger is not used, or if it is not fully configured, then the pole
identification is arbitrary for any detected shorted turns and may not be
accurate.
6.2.4. Attach Monitor
Once sensors are added to the Asset, the GuardII+ needs to be attached.
• Select the Asset and press ‘Add Device’.
