• 26% of the world’s citizens have no access to potable water.
• 46% of the world’s citizens do not have safe sanitation systems.
• 29% of the world’s citizens suffer from an absence of basic hygiene
conditions.
• In 1970-2015, the natural water quantity decreased by 35% (3 times the
deforestation rate).
• 129 countries in the world are still struggling with a shortage of clean water.
