Biscuit and Gravy
You’ll Need
Biscuits Gravy
● 2 cups all-purpose flour . 4 Tablespoon Cannabutter
● 1 teaspoon sugar . I pound Sausage
● 1 tablespoon baking powder . 2cups Whole Milk
● 1 teaspoon salt . ½ cup half and half
● 8 tablespoons CannaButter, cubed .3 tbs flour
● ¾ cup milk . 2-3 Garlic Cloves
. 10 sage leaves,1tbs minced
. Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
Biscuits
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together.
3. Cut butter into mixture until it begins to look like cornmeal.
4. Make a well with flour mixture and slowly add milk into the middle.
5. Knead the dough with your fingers and add milk when necessary.
6. Roll out dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll out to desired thickness.
7. Cut with small biscuit cutter.
8. Butter bottom of skillet and place biscuits in pan.
9. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Gravy
1. In a large saute pan, over medium high heat, add sausage and butter and cook for 5 minutes,
stirring regularly.
2. Add onion and garlic, and cook for another 5 minutes.
3. Whisk in the flour, salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
4. Slowly whisk in the milk and half and half, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Stir in fresh sage and remove from heat, and serve over some big beautiful biscuits
