The Twin Houses

In Neve Tzedek there are twin houses; they look exactly the same. Here lived the
grandchildren of Rabbi Aharon Shlush, Moshe and Marco. Moshe got married and,
according to tradition, his father built him a groom’s house. Marco didn’t get married – he
was a little too dramatic. He was very jealous of Moshe, so they built him a twin house,
but under the condition that he gets married as well. He traveled all the way to [until]
France in order to find a bride. He found a woman who’s called Paulette and took her to
Tel Aviv. One day they were walking by [at] the sea during sunset, and suddenly Paulette
fell. Because of a small mosquito and an allergy that Paulette had, she died. Marco felt a
lot of guilt, and therefore he never got married. He always held a picture of Paulette in his
[the] wallet, and never forgot her. At least he had a pretty home.
