d) Combustion reaction :
it is a reaction in which a substance reacts with oxygen, usually with
the rapid release of heat to produce a flame. The products include
one or more oxides, i.e. oxygen changes oxidation number from 0 to -
2.

1- Organic compounds burn in O2 or air to yield CO2 & H2O
2C4H10 (g) + 13O2 (g) → 8CO2 (g) + 10H2O(l)
2- Many metals burn in air, too, such as Fe wool
