ROTARY CHALAKUDY SOUTH

Must congratulate President Biju Ambazhakkadam and Secretary Martin and Team Chalakudy for the
MAR enormous work they have done this year helping out the various sections of the society. One of their
24 major projects was the ‘Project Re-Build’, through which they have helped many families by renovation
or building their homes which were damaged or destroyed by the devastating floods. Helping the
youth was their next important area – They have not only donated chairs, boards, books, sanitization
products but also conducted various sessions on personality development and carrier guidance for
their development and also to motivate the students encouraged them by giving them awards. To save
Our Lovely Planet they have planted more than 100 trees and encouraged the habit of planting trees
among the public. They recently organised an Eye camp for the benefit of the Society. Great going
Team Chalakudy South!
DD Maj. Gen. Vivekanandan, AG Davis Parambi and GGR Riju Sebastian are ably supporting the Club.

ROTARY COCHIN TECHNOPOLIS

Started the day by a visit to their Global Grant project ‘Gift of Life’ at Amrita Hospital where to commemorate
MAR the completion 100 surgeries, a felicitation function was organized. Had the opportunity to interact with
25 the doctor’s team and the beneficiaries. On the way we saw the fabulous Rotary LED display in front of
Lulu Mall and other hoardings put up in prominent locations at Vytilla – a effective Public Image builder
! We then visited the HMT Colony Govt. LP School at Kalamassery where play equipments were handed
over. We also planted fruit trees at the vegetable garden started by them. The club assembly was very
interactive with good participation by the members and the Grand and lively evening meeting was also
well attended by the family of Cochin Technopolis. Must congratulate President Abey Sam, Secretary Jerry
Thomas and Team Technopolis for the fabulous projects they have completed with more planned out.
