Oversees the strategy of a late stage program and is the sponsor of life cycle management
initiatives for the program; considered to be the "CEO" of the Program Team
Program Reporting
Profitability is measured for Programs with Commercial Products and the investment in
Research Programs is measured across all functions that are supporting the Program.
Progression Free Survival (PFS)
Length of time during and after treatment in which disease does not get worse, may be used
to evaluate efficacy of new treatment
Progressive Disease (PD)
A disease or physical ailment whose course in most cases is the worsening, growth, or
spread of the disease.
Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy (PML)
Rare, progressive, demyelinating disease of the central nervous system, affects mainly
immunocompromised patients, e.g. HIV infection, malignancies, and organ transplantation
Project Accounting (PA)
Module is a subledger, similar to Accounts Payable, that can be used to track and report on
information beyond the account level and beyond what you can track in the General Ledger
(i.e. you want to track and report on information across accounts for a specific activity).
Project Cube
Reporting application that expands management information for project reporting. Pulls
from GL and Project Accounting module.
Project Financial Planning (PFP)
Hyperion Capital planning tool.
Project Management
Budgeting and resource allocation.
Protected Health Information (PHI)
Protected subject medical and health information
