Once you have populated your Project Number, the Task field LOVs will be narrowed to only
those which apply to your specific Project Number.

PA Web ADI Standard Template Trans Curr

This is the currency in which the entry will be charged. This is needed only when they are
entering Non-functional currency expenditures. For all functional expenditures this field is
left blank (This is 90-95% transactions); for non-functional expenses users will have to
manually enter the transaction currency.

You will want to select “PA Miscellaneous.” You can do so by searching for “PA%.”

PA Web ADI Standard Template Unmatched Txn Flag

The default is that debits are entered as positive numbers in the template. Only use this field
when you will be entering negative numbers into the template (i.e. for a reversal). If you are
entering a negative number in the template, you will need to enter a “Y” in this field.

Parent Segment Value

A segment value that groups a number of other segment values, called child segment
values. The system uses parent segment values for reporting and in MassAllocations/
MassBudgeting. For example, the parent account for travel and entertainment expenses
includes many child values such as 741100 which represents Airfare, and 741200 which
represents Accommodations.

Partial Response (PR)

Reduction in total cross-sectional area of all measurable tumors by at least 50%

Patient Cube

Planning and reporting application for patient actuals and forecast data, for both Biogen and
competitors. Note the information is stored directly and not from a source system. This is
used by Commercial Business Planning.

Patient Safety information (PSI)

Document that describes the safety information for investigational products in a patient-
friendly language
