Also known as Financial Self-Service Reporting (FSSR) utilizes Oracle Business Intelligence
Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) software to deliver a comprehensive set of analytics for cost
center managers.
Oracle Clinical (OC)
The Clinical Data Management System used by Biogen.
Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
A comprehensive suite of integrated, global business applications used to transact financial
data. Also referred to as the transactional applications.
Oracle Pharmaceutical Application Suite
A global data and trial management system used to integrate data and processes across
Biogen. Contains applications for data capture and management of paper-based trials
(Oracle Clinical), remote data capture for electronic data capture trials, AERS for safety data,
TMS for coding medical terms, a clinical trial management system and a clinical data
repository.
Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM)
Enables firms to better manage batch production involving variable ingredients, scalable
recipes and flexible routings to satisfy unique specifications typically found in chemicals,
food and beverage, life sciences, pharma and natural resources. Allows full end-to-end lot
traceability with embedded quality and multiple cost methods that provide complete visibility
of plant operations.
Oracle Project Accounting (PA)
Module is a subledger, similar to Accounts Payable, that can be used to track and report on
information beyond the account level and beyond what you can track in the General Ledger
(i.e. you want to track and report on information across accounts for a specific activity).
