Humility: Avoiding Pride and Arrogance
He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, his God and did not hum -
ble him self be fore Jeremiah the Prophet, who spoke the word
of the Lord. (2 Chronicles, 36:12)
A lit tle while, and the wick ed will be no more; though you
look for them, they will not be found. But the meek will in -
her it the land and en joy great peace. (Psalms, 37:10-11)
When pride comes, then comes dis grace, but with hu mil i ty
comes wis dom. (Proverbs, 11:2)
Pride goes be fore de struc tion, a haugh ty spir it be fore a fall.

Humility and the fear of the Lord bring
