WISDOM AND SOUND ADVICE FROM THE TORAH
among the stars, from there I will bring you down," de clares
the Lord. (Obadiah, 1:3-4)
This is what the Sovereign Lord says:... It will not be as it was:
The low ly will be ex alt ed and the ex alt ed will be brought
low. (Ezekiel, 21:26)
Seek the Lord, all you hum ble of the land, you who do what
He com mands. Seek right eous ness, seek hu mil i ty; per haps
you will be shel tered... (Zephaniah, 2:3)
... He crowns the hum ble with sal va tion. (Psalms, 149:4)
You save the hum ble but bring low those whose eyes are
haugh ty. (Psalms, 18:27)
Hear and pay at ten tion, do not be ar ro gant, for the Lord has
spo ken. (Jeremiah, 13:15)
He guides the hum ble in what is right and teach es them His

This is what the Lord... says: "How long will you refuse to

bring them low. (2 Samuel, 22:28)
