WISDOM AND SOUND ADVICE FROM THE TORAH
The un fold ing of Your words gives light; it gives un der -
stand ing to the sim ple. (Psalms, 119:130)
Your stat utes are for ev er right; give me un der stand ing that I
may live. (Psalms, 119:144)
May my cry come be fore You, O Lord; give me un der stand -
ing ac cord ing to Your word. (Psalms, 119:169)
Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.

I guide you in the way of wis dom and lead you along
straight paths. (Proverbs, 4:11)
