            Then you will win fa vor and a good name in the sight of God

            Blessed is the man who finds wis dom, the man who gains un -
            der stand ing, for she is more prof it a ble than sil ver and yields bet -
            ter re turns than gold. She is more pre cious than ru bies; noth ing
            you de sire can com pare with her... Her ways are pleas ant ways,
            and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who em -

            brace her; those who lay hold of her will be bless ed... My son,
            pre serve sound judg ment and dis cern ment, do not let them out of
            your sight; they will be life for you, an or na ment to grace your
            neck. Then you will go on your way in safe ty, and your foot will
            not stum ble; when you lie down, you will not be afraid; when

            snared. Do not with hold good from those who de serve it, when
            it is in your pow er to act. Do not say to your neigh bor, "Come
            back lat er; I'll give it to mor row"—when you now have it with
            you. Do not plot harm against your neigh bor, who lives trust -
            ful ly near you... Do not en vy a vi o lent man or choose any of his
            ways, for the Lord dislikes a per verse man but takes the up right
