From London Gatwick Airport:

From the airport, follow the signs to the M23. Once on the M23 it’s easy – just follow signs to the
M25, 8.6 miles away.

0.0 mi 51.1596, -0.1530 The roundabout at start of the M23 approach road at London Gatwick
Airport.

8.6 mi 51.2583, -0.1258 At junction 8 on the M23, take the exit road left s/p “M25 / Heathrow /
(M4. M1)” on to the M25, the London Orbital Motorway.

From anywhere else in London:

If you are starting from London suburbs – for instance from London Heathrow Airport – the best
option is to simply make your way to the M25, the London Orbital, the great ring road that
encircles the city until you come to Junction 16, the intersection with the M40. Take the M40 North
s/p “Birmingham / Oxford”.

Now choose the route you want to take.

1: The fast way:

Merge on to the M40.

11.4 mi 51.7320, -1.0760 To take the side trip to West Wycombe, at Junction 4 take the exit from
the M40 on to the A404 s/p “High Wycombe / Marlowe / M4 / A404”. On the r/bout, cross back
over the motorway and take the exit s/p “Ayelsbury A4010”. Now follow the instructions in the side
bar below.
